AudioRinse in Claude
Ask Claude to
clean it up.
Background noise, room echo, a voice that's too quiet: tell Claude, give it the file, and get back a cleaned file you can compare with the original before you download it. Video keeps its picture.
Same account as the website · free check · 3 free cleanings a month
Step 1
Add it once
One click adds AudioRinse to Claude. Sign in with your AudioRinse account (or create one).
Step 2
Give Claude the file
Claude hands you a private upload link, or takes a Dropbox or Google Drive link.
Step 3
Listen, then download
A free check says what's wrong. The result page lets you switch between original and cleaned.

- upload_audio
- A private upload link for a file on your device. Files attached to a chat can't be passed to connectors, so you drop the file there and tell Claude it's done.
- analyze_audio
- Checks a recording and says what's wrong: background noise, room echo, loudness against podcast and YouTube targets, possible clipping, speech or music. Recommends a fix, or says cleaning won't help. Free, up to 50 checks a day.
- clean_audio
- Cleans the recording and returns a download link plus a page where you switch between the original and the cleaned version. Long files return a job id.
- check_job
- The result for a file that's still being cleaned.
- my_usage, whoami
- Your plan, what you've used this month, and which account the connector is signed in with.
Fixes
- auto
- Checks the file first and picks a fix, or tells you nothing needs fixing (and uses nothing).
- noise
- Removes background noise: air conditioning, fans, traffic, hum, hiss, room chatter.
- echo
- Reduces room echo and reverb, then removes noise. Echo from one microphone can be reduced, not removed entirely.
- voice
- Removes noise, makes the voice clearer and levels it to −16 LUFS for podcast apps.
Strength 0–100 (default 70 keeps a trace of the original so voices stay natural). Loudness: podcast (−16 LUFS), YouTube (−14 LUFS) or none. Output: m4a, mp3 or wav (Pro). Videos come back as MP4 with the picture copied unchanged. The cleaned sound is mono.
Plans
- Free: 3 cleanings a month, shared with downloads on the website; audio files up to 10 minutes. Checks are always free.
- Pro ($7.99/month or $39.99/year): 20 hours a month in Claude, files up to 40 minutes (20 for echo), video up to 250 MB and WAV, plus unlimited downloads on the website.
Questions
How is this different from cleaning on the website?
On the website your file never leaves your device. In Claude it can't: Claude can't run the model for you, so the connector cleans the file on our servers. Uploads are deleted as soon as they're cleaned, results after 24 hours, and nothing is used for training or listened to.
Can't Claude do this by itself?
Not well. The usual tools in Claude's code sandbox (ffmpeg's built-in denoisers, spectral gating) improved our noisy test recordings by less than 0.1 dB, or made them worse. The same model the website uses made them about 9 dB cleaner.
Is it the same account and plan?
Yes. You sign in with your AudioRinse account. Free cleanings in Claude come out of the same 3 free downloads a month, and Pro covers both: unlimited downloads on the website and 20 hours a month in Claude.
Does it change the words or generate a voice?
No. It filters your own recording: noise and echo are turned down. No speech is synthesised, changed or cloned.
