This recording was made thin and quiet, like a phone on a table.“After” is AudioRinse at its default strength. The voice is synthetic, so we can share it freely.

When Adobe is the better choice

If a recording is badly distorted or barely audible, Adobe's server-side model can rebuild speech in a way a cleaning tool can't. AudioRinse is the better fit when you want your own voice kept natural, don't want to upload private recordings, need video, or clean audio every week and keep running into a daily cap.

AudioRinse also has single-purpose tools for background noise, room echo and video.

Questions

Is AudioRinse made by Adobe?

No. AudioRinse is an independent tool by Wikivec Inc. and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Adobe. Adobe and Adobe Podcast are trademarks of Adobe Inc.

Does it sound the same as Adobe's Enhance Speech?

No, and it's built differently. Adobe's enhancer regenerates the voice on its servers, which can rescue very poor recordings but sometimes sounds robotic. AudioRinse removes noise and room echo from the voice you recorded and shapes its tone and loudness, so it keeps your voice's character. Try both on the same clip.

Why is there no daily limit on cleaning?

Because the cleaning runs on your computer, it costs us nothing per minute. You can clean and listen as much as you like; only downloads are counted on the free plan.

Where do the Adobe details come from?
