Is my recording uploaded anywhere?

No. AudioRinse runs the cleaning model inside your browser, on your own computer. Your file never leaves your device, so there's no upload to wait for and nothing stored on a server.

Will it fix a recording made on a phone?

Usually yes. Phone recordings often have background noise, a thin or boomy tone and uneven volume, which are exactly the three things the enhancer works on. It can't restore audio that is clipped (distorted from being too loud).

Does it change how my voice sounds?

It keeps your voice and makes it clearer. It doesn't alter pitch or character.
