Questions

Is my recording uploaded anywhere?

No. AudioRinse runs the cleaning model inside your browser, on your own computer. Your file never leaves your device, so there's no upload to wait for and nothing stored on a server.

What kinds of noise does it remove?

Steady and changing background noise around speech: fans, air conditioning, computer hum, traffic, wind, keyboard clatter, crowd murmur and hiss. It's trained for voice, so it keeps speech and removes what isn't speech.

Will it make my voice sound robotic?

That's what the strength slider is for. The default (70%) keeps a little of the room so the voice stays natural; turn it up for heavy noise or down if you hear artifacts. You compare against the original before downloading.

Does it work on music?

No. It's built for speech. On a song it would treat the instruments as noise.

Is it free?

Cleaning and listening are free and unlimited. You get 3 free downloads a month for audio files up to 10 minutes (1 without an account). Pro adds unlimited downloads, files up to 1 hour and video.
